MUST HAVE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS EXPERIENCE

Overview:

Responsible for selling a wide range of electrical connectors and related products to the military and industrial electronic equipment sectors.

Duties:

* Maximize profitable sales of the Company's interconnection products.

* Identify new business opportunities in both existing and new markets.

* Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, and manufacturers.

* Conduct customer visits to promote the Company's products/services and identify potential new applications.

* Participate in product-specific marketing campaigns to support the Company's marketing strategy.

* Support the Company's design, marketing, and pricing functions.

* Liaise with internal departments regarding pricing and delivery issues.

* Provide timely and accurate management information as needed.

* Adhere to existing Company policies and procedures.

* Undertake ad-hoc projects to meet business needs.

Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours:

* Strong technical knowledge of connectors and their applications in military and industrial electronic equipment.

* Proven success in increasing sales of technical products, preferably connectors.

* Education to HNC/D level (or equivalent) in an electro/mechanical discipline is preferred.

* Familiarity with working in a BS EN ISO9001:2015 accredited environment.

* Good personal representation and well-developed presentation skills.

* Ability to understand and interpret technical data.

* Proficiency in IT.

* Effective planning and coordination of customer visits and internal presentations.

* Self-motivated, self-disciplined, and able to work independently.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Commercially astute with well-developed negotiation skills.

* Flexible and adaptable in approach.

* Holder of a full, clean UK driving licence and willing to drive reasonable distances.

* Willing and able to stay away from home in the UK and abroad as needed.

* Willing to participate in trade shows and exhibitions.

* Holder of a full passport and able to undertake business-related air travel if required.
