Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge? Do you want to work on a diverse range of new build, refurbishment, and fit-out projects across multiple sectors, including education, healthcare, industrial, commercial, and retail?
My client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team, working on projects ranging from £500k to £10m, with a focus on quality, profitability, and long-term client relationships.
Your Role:
✔ Work closely with Project and Contracts Managers to ensure projects are delivered successfully, meeting financial targets and maintaining quality.
✔ Accurately forecast project values, costs, and margins, ensuring financial control and risk management.
✔ Manage all cost control aspects, including valuations, subcontractor payments, and cash flow forecasting.
✔ Support contract compliance, ensuring all processes, notices, and records are maintained to protect the company's position.
✔ Assist in resolving commercial disputes and negotiating subcontractor packages to achieve the best possible outcomes.
✔ Provide accurate monthly reports and final accounts to clients, ensuring transparency and financial clarity.
What You'll Need:
🔹 Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
🔹 Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
🔹 Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
🔹 Knowledge of relevant construction legislation and contractual processes.
🔹 A proactive approach to problem-solving and cost management.
