Job Title: Supervisor

Location: Exeter

Salary: £15.75 per hour

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Job Summary:

Join the team and become the voice of sustainability! Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations within the composting operation. Control and direct staff and contractors assigned; carry out operations as required for shredding, screening, turning and loading compost.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure cleanliness of the site, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Carry out daily inspection checks as required
• Plan and organise maintenance across multiple sites, assist fitters with repairs and carry out servicing
• Always provide a high standard of customer service
• Plan and organise operations across sites, while ensuring that sufficient resources are available
• Liaise with inspectors as required

Qualifications/Experience:

• Ability to communicate and write in English
• Experience supervising teams
• Experience of plant operation and routine maintenance
• A strong work ethic and approachable attitude is a must
