Electrical Design Engineer - Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client is seeking a confident Electrical Design Engineer with a detailed understanding of all aspects of electrical and electronic design. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in the development of new products and thrives in a highly regulated industry.
Day to day of the role: - Engage in electrical assembly and design, including wiring harness design and electronic control and interface design.
- Produce engineering drawings, build, and test guides.
- Work on AC/DC power distribution, analogue and digital circuit design.
- Conduct fault finding and problem-solving activities.
- Collaborate with other specialists within a project, advising on equipment design and integration.
- Meet tight deadlines and adhere to industry regulations while aiming to exceed customer expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified engineer, ideally to degree-level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent professional experience in electrical design.
- Strong understanding of Machinery safety regulations, EU harmonised standards, and design of safety circuits.
- Experience in regulated environments with exposure to EN60204, EN13849, UL/NFPA regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Solid Edge is highly desirable.
