About the role:

We're seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN TA to support a bright and lively Year 4 boy with SEMH needs and ASD at a wonderful Catholic school in Barnet. If you're firm yet fair, kind and caring, with a structured and patient approach, this role could be perfect for you! You'll work one-on-one to provide consistent support, building a strong, trusting relationship with the child. He thrives on routine and structure and enjoys adult attention. The role is currently set to accommodate a schedule where he finishes at 1 PM. However, the school is open to offering full-time or part-time hours for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to the Year 4 pupil, ensuring his individual needs are met.
• Create and maintain a consistent routine and structured environment.
• Engage the child in Maths-focused activities while exploring creative ways to develop other skills.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, SEN specialists, and parents to deliver the best outcomes.
• Promote emotional well-being and confidence through patient and positive interactions.
