Position : Maintenance Engineer

Location : Haverhill, Suffolk

Sector : Food Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance

Shifts : 4 on 4 off (nights)

Salary : £54,000

Our client is a leading food manufacturer based in Haverhill. We are recruiting Maintenance Engineers, preferably multi skilled. Electrical or mechanical bias considered.

You will be responsible for providing a safe, frontline reactive maintenance service to our site. You will be able to promptly identify and address root causes to ensure rapid restoration of equipment to full operational status and proactively seek and implement cost-effective improvements to site assets and equipment, enhancing efficiency and reliability.

Food manufacturing sector preferred but not essential

Apprentice trained preferred

Recognised and validated maintenance engineering qualification or certificate training to NVQ Level 3 standard preferred

Reactive and preventative maintenance. Predictive maintenance experience beneficial but not essential

Experience of CAPEX projects beneficial

Familiar with CMMS

BRC experience beneficial.

Awareness of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety etc preferred
