We are currently seeking a highly competent and experienced Brake Press Setter to join our Client. As a Brake Press Setter, you will play a crucial role in setting up and operating our brake press machinery to produce high-quality metal components for various industries.

Responsibilities

* Set up and configure brake press machines according to engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring precise bending and forming of metal components.

* Collaborate with the production team to plan and prioritize workflow, ensuring efficient and timely completion of orders.

* Operate the brake press machinery and monitor the production process to maintain consistent quality and accuracy in the formed parts.

* Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the brake press equipment, identifying and resolving any issues promptly to minimize downtime.

* -Adjust machine settings as needed to meet strict tolerances and maintain the highest standards of product quality.

* Interpret technical drawings and work instructions to determine proper tooling selection and machine setup.

* Conduct quality checks on finished products, verifying dimensions and alignment to ensure compliance with specifications.

* Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines and best practices to promote a safe working environment.

* Provide training and guidance to junior team members to enhance their skills and proficiency in brake press operations.

* Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for improved production processes and tooling.

Qualifications and Experience

* Proven experience as a Brake Press Setter or a similar role in metal fabrication, laser Cutting industry or general Engineering

* Strong technical knowledge of brake press machinery, tooling, and metalworking processes.

* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

* Ability to set up and adjust brake press machines to achieve precise bends and forms.

* Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining strict tolerances and quality standards.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues related to machine operation and tooling.

* Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

* Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials when required.
