Accounts Administrator
£30,000
Audenshaw, Tameside
An incredible opportunity to join a traditional, well run business in Tameside as an Accounts Administrator.
Company been operating over 60 years, and their customers have stayed with them all this time because they work hard, get things right, solve any issues quickly and efficiently and provide the best service.
Role is full administration and support to the Accounts Manager so you must have accounts understanding to be able to support across both areas. It's fast paced, it needs someone happy to get stuck into the nitty gritty but also have the ability to do the more intricate elements too.
MD is fantastic, he is honest, open and makes decisions for the best interest of everyone in the business and he wants someone to come in and be a positive influence on the business and their clients.
Currently operating on a dated, clunky system but upgrading to Xero in the next 4 weeks, making processes more efficient for you where you can immediately upload and allocate invoices, delivery notes and purchase orders. Efficient, time saving, perfect time to join as they transition.
Your communication skills must be spot on, be able to make changes to customer orders/ deliveries and revert back with the information, as well as be on hand to support on invoicing but know the correlation between stock, purchase orders and everything in between too! A real all-rounder.
Would suit someone with a bit of a commercial awareness about them, thinks right this isn't good enough, let's sort it, let's change it, that approach goes a long way with the MD. Not suited to someone who wants to climb the career ladder but wants to do a great job for a great business and a great boss and go home happy.
Sage/ Xero systems experience is needed, you'll know how to operate Xero if you have used either and may even be able to support on training current staff on it too!
All applications through to Erin Wilde at Platinum.
