Location: Handsworth, Birmingham
Position: School Finance Officer
Hours: Full-Time, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: £13 - £17 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: Ongoing with the potential for a permanent position
T4S Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Handsworth, Birmingham, to recruit an experienced School Finance Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in the financial management of a vibrant school community.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily financial operations of the school.

Manage budgets, financial reporting, and monitoring expenditure.
*
Process invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
*
Handle payroll administration and related queries.
*
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
*
Liaise with external suppliers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience in school finance or a strong financial background in a similar sector.
*
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
*
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
*
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to process a new one.
