Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Economics Teacher to join our dynamic faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality economics education to students at Key Stages 4 and 5. This role involves planning and teaching engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective economics lessons for GCSE and A-Level students.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of all students.
Provide pastoral care and support to students, promoting their academic and personal development.
Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and school-wide events.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and coherent approach to the teaching of economics.
Qualifications and Experience:

A degree in Economics or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching Economics at secondary school level, preferably including A-Level.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for economics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community
