Role overview:

As a Health Visitor, you'll play a crucial role in delivery of the Healthy Child Programme to all eligible children and families.

* Carrying out ongoing health needs assessments for all children and families within the community

* To provide health visiting support and advice within the community and clinic setting

* Overseeing the delivery of Universal service key touch points, ensuring they are within required timescales, according to the service model to meet targets

* Working as part of team of wider team including: GPs, Midwives, Early Years Workers and Children's Centre staff

The Ideal Candidate:

* Registered General Nurse with Degree/Diploma in Health Visiting

* Qualified Nurse Prescriber

* An understanding of the knowledge and skills for the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of Health Promotion
