- Clear DBS
- Experience within a Hospital Director role or similar position
- Extensive managerial experience working at a senior level within a highly specialised or unique discipline where the role holder is informing strategy

The role of a Hospital Director (RMN/Mental Health Nurse) within the Mental Health Hospital involves: - Being accountable for the hospital's clinical and commercial performance
- Assessing and supervising the work of members of staff, ensuring that their training is up to date and in line with internal and external policies
- Holding regular meetings with service users, relatives and external agencies
- Developing, implementing and monitoring systems and policies
- Monitoring and reviewing accident reports, ensuring the relevant bodies are informed
- Ensuring that the Hospital is compliant with internal and external policies and procedures
- Managing and staying within the agreed budget
- Endeavouring to fill any job vacancies and maintaining safe levels of staffing
