Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Location: Midlands-wide travel with office visits in Birmingham.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Position Overview:

As a Field Sales Executive within our client's business, you will be accountable for the profitable delivery of sales through new customers. This involves developing customer relationships, educating customers about our client's various products and services, and advising clients on the most appropriate product that best suits their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver targeted sales -

Through targeted Sales & Marketing activity, proactively secure new customer sales through their existing market to achieve monthly revenue targets and KPI's.
Work with marketing to identify new target markets and develop new sales strategies to increase sales.Ensure agreed margin levels are maintained -

Demonstrate the full potential of the products and services they offer with the knowledge and confidence required to accurately meet a new customer's needs.
Carry out surveys of properties to gain accurate measurements for products, where required.
Provide accurate and detailed information for each sale to ensure the customer's exact requirements are understood and manufacturing costs are kept to a minimum.
Identify opportunities to cross sell or upsell.Develop new customer relationships -

Regular and timely meetings with customers to establish their needs and build relationships.
Quickly and professionally resolve any customer concerns or questions.
Follow the sales process from beginning to end and make recommendations for improvements to secure more sales or improve the customer journey.
Utilise multiple communication methods to provide the best service for the customer, such as face to face meetings, telephone conversations, emails, and WhatsApp messages.Other Responsibilities:

Effectively and accurately input information into their in-house sales management system and ensure all paperwork is to the company standard and available in a timely manner.
As part of a wider sales and customer support team, ensure excellent communication skills to promote teamwork and a collaborative working environment.
Feedback on any product improvements you identify.
Support colleagues in their role and new starters into the team.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
As a medium sized business, it is important you are prepared to roll your sleeves up and help wherever is needed to support the Customer or the Company.
Adhere to our Health & Safety guidelines and those of the Health & Safety Act 1974.Key Accountability's:

Achieving agreed sales targets and KPI's.
Following the sales process in place and making recommendations for improvements.
Carrying out the role with honesty and integrity, whilst demonstrating the company values, and with the company's best interest at heart.Required Experience/ Skills:

2 years sales experience.
Clean full UK driving license.
Experience of working to sales targets, KPI's and deadlines.
Effective communication skills (face to face/ telephone/ teams/ zooms).
Strong relationship building skills.
