Due to continued organisational growth and development opportunities for our current staff, we are recruiting for experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our staff teams. Supporting vulnerable and complex children/young adults in the - in and out of their home.
About the job role as a Healthcare Assistant:
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be key in helping our young people with everyday living including helping in daily personal care, household tasks, accompanying the young person to appointments and daily plans whilst ensuring their health and wellbeing needs are met. Job Type- Healthcare Assistant (bank staff)
Salary:
- Banking shifts.
- Lone Working/Working in Teams.
- £20 ph depending upon experience.
- Mileage paid at 32p per mile (business use only)
Required Skills:
- Experience as a Healthcare Assistant or similar position.
- Care Certificate would be an advantage.
- A passion to want to help others.
- The ability to communicate clearly and sensitively when talking to people and their families.
- Good listening skills.
- The ability to work alone.
- Being empathetic towards everyone.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- A non-judgemental attitude regardless of a person’s needs.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and when dealing with challenging situations.
- Loyal & honest
- Forward-thinking with a flexible approach.
- Able to follow instruction & direction.
- Full UK Driving License with access to your own vehicle or means of transport.
