‍ The Role of a Secondary ECT:

✔️ Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
✔️ Adapt teaching approaches to meet a variety of learning needs
✔️ Monitor and assess student progress, offering clear feedback
✔️ Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
✔️ Build rapport with students, staff, and families
✔️ Manage classroom behaviour effectively and confidently

What We're Looking For in a Secondary ECT (Early Career Teacher):

✅ QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
✅ Some teaching experience in a secondary school (as an ECT or trainee)
✅ Strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for teaching
✅ Ability to engage and motivate pupils with creative lesson delivery
✅ Good classroom management and a reflective approach
✅ Organised, committed, and eager to learn

Essential Requirements to be a Secondary ECT (Early Career Teacher):

An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (with no unexplained gaps)
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
