About the Company/Client/Project:

This regional main contractor is well established in the area with circa £25m turnover and a range of new build and refurbishment projects currently on site and good pipeline of secured work into 2025/6.

The scope of work includes new build and refurbishment works in schools and colleges, libraries, museums, car showrooms, care homes, etc. Projects ranging from £300k upwards but typically around the £2-3m mark in value.

Workload is secured via a mix of competitive tenders, regional frameworks and negotiated projects for repeat clients.

This is a well-established regional contractor with a very low turnover of staff and long service amongst both senior management and operational staff.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

You will ideally have a time served trades background, experience of managing and coordinating other trades on site as foreman with a few years working in this role.

You will possess the ability to coordinate activities on site, manage other trade sub-contractors, carry out inductions and monitor / enforce safe working practices, progress of works against programme, and basic QA to ensure work is carried out according to the drawing and specified quality.

You will ideally have the capacity to look and plan ahead, organise short-term programs and plan for logistics, deliveries of materials, removal of waste, etc

You will possess your CSCS supervisor card, and ideally SSSTS or SMSTS and First Aid qualifications.

High standards, attention to detail and the drive to deliver work on time, spec and budget will be well rewarded with competitive salary and package, plus ongoing training and development.

This a great long term career opportunity with this regional business.
