We are seeking an exceptional Year 6 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Barnet. This full-time role begins in January 2025, offering a fantastic opportunity to lead a lively and motivated Year 6 class during a critical year of their education.

• Open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) ready to kickstart their careers.
• No SEN pupils in the classroom, allowing a smooth focus on curriculum delivery.
• Open to part-time applications for the right candidate.
• Suitable for teachers on the M1-M6 pay scale.

You will be responsible for delivering an engaging curriculum that inspires and challenges students, preparing them for their next chapter as they move to secondary school.

Application Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferred but not essential for ECTs).
• A deep understanding of effective teaching and learning practices.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire pupils.
• Commitment to raising standards and delivering engaging lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons following the Year 6 curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Support students with SATs preparation to boost confidence and attainment.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment that fosters learning and respect.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and senior leadership to track and celebrate progress.
