A dynamic and inclusive primary school in Islington is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team from February 2025. This full-time position is to cover a maternity leave on a temporary one-year contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Year 1 curriculum.
Assess and track pupils' progress to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
Create a positive and nurturing learning environment that supports academic and personal growth.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to enhance pupils' learning experiences.
Contribute to the wider school community and participate in school events and initiatives.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching in UK primary schools, preferably in KS1.
Strong knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Excellent classroom management skills.
