Position: Long-Term HLTA (3 Days a Week: Monday to Wednesday)

Start Date: January 2025
We are a well-established primary school in the heart of Greenwich, seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team for a long-term role covering PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting primary education and has a solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver high-quality lessons across all year groups (EYFS to Year 6).
· Support the planning, preparation, and assessment of lessons for class teachers.
· Assist in creating an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
· Work with small groups and individuals to support their learning and development.
· Support classroom management and contribute to a positive learning culture.
Requirements:
· Proven experience teaching across all primary year groups.
· Sound knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum.
· HLTA qualification or equivalent (Level 4/5).
· Strong communication and organisational skills.
· A proactive, adaptable, and positive approach to supporting teaching and learning.
· Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo a check).
