My client is seeking an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager.

You will be responsible for driving drainage sales across the South West, including Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Avon, and Wiltshire.

The Role:

* Manage and grow relationships with both national and independent merchants, such as Travis Perkins, Jewson, Civils & Lintels and Keyline.

* Drive new business by creating demand with Groundworkers and Sub-Contractors, alongside managing existing client accounts.

* Work closely with merchants to conduct joint visits, build strong partnerships, and ensure customer satisfaction.

* Sell a range of drainage solutions

* Convert leads and quotes generated by the internal team.

The Ideal Candidate:

* A tenacious and ambitious individual with proven experience in sales.

* Experience selling into merchants (civils/heavyside/other).

* Knowledge of drainage would be ideal but open to candidates with experience in any other building materials.

* Ability to build strong relationships and close deals with both merchants and contractors.

* Salary circa£45,000 with OTE £60,000+
