Head of Distribution & Logistics

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum
Location: North Wales

Are you a seasoned logistics professional looking to take your career to the next level? Hexagon Recruitment are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Distribution & Logistics to join our hyper-growing Client.

The Role:

As the Head of Distribution & Logistics, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the warehousing and logistical functions of the business. You'll lead a team of professionals and work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise distribution networks and logistics operations
Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and negotiate contracts
Oversee inventory management and warehouse operations
Analyse and improve supply chain processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
Lead and develop a high-performing team of logistics professionals
Implement and manage logistics technology systems

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
8+ years of experience in logistics and distribution management (EMEA or globally)
Proven track record of implementing successful logistics strategies and management systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive operational efficiencies
Excellent leadership and communication abilities to inspire and motivate the workforce
Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems to facilitate global distribution of products
