Responsibilities:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and learning activities.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
Promote positive behaviour management strategies and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to assess student progress and provide feedback.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Contribute to the planning and preparation of lessons and resources.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies.
Ability to adapt to different learning styles and support students with diverse needs.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
