Treasury Accountant

South Warrington - Hybrid following training - up to £45,000 DOE

Working with one of our most long-standing clients - this role is a fantastic move for an established Treasury Specialist who has knowledge of cash-flow/daily banking processes. You will be joining an extremely high-calibre team and future opportunities in this firm are brilliant.

As Treasury Accountant, you will be sitting underneath an extremely accomplished Financial Controller and will be responsible for the day-to-day cash management, cash flow forecasting and monthly reporting cycle. This is a pivotal role within the team and my client needs somebody adaptable, hard-working and driven.

Key duties of this role will include:

• Monitor daily cash positions and ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs.
• Manage cash forecasting and analyse variances to ensure accurate cash flow projections.
• Oversee the reconciliation of bank accounts and daily cash transactions.
• Maintain strong working relationships with the bank, resolving all issues relating to accounts or transactions.
• Support payment processes and track actual inflows/outflows vs forecast.
• Prepare treasury related reports including cash flow forecasts, liquidity reports and variance analysis.
• Assist in preparing financial statements by providing treasury related data and insights.

What we need from you:

• Strong understanding of cash flow management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial software.
• QBE will be considered, but a relevant AAT/part-CIMA/ACCA qualification would be advantageous.
• A proactive approach to your work.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
