About the Role:
As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company adheres to legal standards and internal policies. You will help mitigate risks and maintain the company's reputation by promoting a culture of compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop, implement, and monitor the company's compliance policies and procedures.

* Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

* Advise internal teams on compliance-related matters, including laws, regulations, and best practices.

* Investigate and resolve any compliance issues, reporting findings to senior management.

* Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry standards.

* Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies as required.

* Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters.

What We're Looking For:

* Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role.

* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, financial regulations, etc.).

* Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with all levels of staff and management.

* Relevant qualifications in compliance, law, or related fields (CIPFA, CCLS, or equivalent).
