We are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join us for our client's Temp to Perm requirements

* Monday - Friday work with the option to work weekends

* HGV class 2 driver experience essential

* Temp to Perm Opportunities' available for the right candidate

* Earn a rate of £17+ per hour after probationary per week for full time Monday to Friday hours

Driver Hire, the UK's largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company are looking to recruit additional HGV Class 2 Drivers in 2024 to work on various contracts throughout Manchester, Tameside, Salford and Trafford Park.

Our client is looking for a HGV Class 2 Driver to take a full time Temp to Perm role.

* You assist customers in a friendly manner and ensure excellent service. Customer satisfaction is very important tous!

* On average, you visit 15 to 25 customers per day - no problem for you!

* You follow the route planned for you and stop at restaurants, chip shops, and other businesses.

* You work independently, enjoy your journeys, and keep your administration simple using a smartphone or tablet.

* At the end of the day, you deliver our collected load, and your workday is done. Ready for a new journey tomorrow!

​HGV Class 2 Driver will need:

* Do you have experience as a driver collecting goods? That's a plus, but not essential.

* You are physically fit and can lift, move, and load barrels without any problem. Hard work and long days doesn't scare you!

* You know the roads in and around London well or are willing to learn quickly.

* A valid driving licence (Category C) - with no more than 3 penalty points.

* You speak good English.

PLEASE NOTE, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONSIDER APPLICATIONS FROM ANYBODY WHO HAS NO EXPERIENCE OF DRIVING THIS CLASS OF VEHICLE.

HGV Class 2 Driver Duties will include:

* Driving company vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws

* Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance

* Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress

* Completing paperwork accurately as instructed

* Dealing with customers face to face in a polite and courteous manner
