We are currently seeking an M&E Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established and reputable engineering firm in the UK building services industry.

About the Company
Our client is a respected provider of mechanical and electrical engineering services, known for delivering reliable, high-quality solutions to a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, and healthcare. Their expertise, customer-focused approach, and commitment to excellence have earned them a strong reputation in the industry.
Due to an expanding portfolio of projects, they are looking for a skilled M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their team, overseeing the financial management and cost control of various M&E projects.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for M&E projects.
*
Conduct risk, value management, and cost control activities throughout the project lifecycle.
*
Manage contracts, including financial administration and negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
*
Provide accurate financial forecasting and reporting on project progress.
*
Work closely with project management teams to ensure project costs remain within budget.
What We're Looking For
*
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the M&E sector.
*
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems within building services.
*
Experience managing contracts and working with NEC or JCT forms of contract.
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
*
Strong analytical and financial management skills.
