Senior Rail Engineering Leader - Major Infrastructure Projects
Location: Dublin, Dundalk, Cork, or Galway

 

We are searching for a high-calibre Associate Director / Project Director to lead major rail engineering and upgrade projects across Ireland.

This is an exclusive opportunity for an experienced leader to join a world-renowned engineering consultancy, shaping the future of transportation infrastructure.

 


The Role:

 

As an Associate Director or Project Director, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-value, multi-disciplinary rail projects.

You will work closely with industry-leading clients and stakeholders, driving innovation, ensuring technical excellence, and leading multi-functional teams.

 


Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Directing and managing large-scale, multi-million-euro rail consultancy commissions.

 

  • Overseeing the design and delivery of complex railway infrastructure projects.

 

  • Leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams, ensuring efficiency and quality.

 

  • Managing contracts and commercial aspects of projects.

 

  • Providing strategic guidance and mentoring junior staff.

 

  • Driving business development, leading bids, and securing new projects.

 

 

Your Experience & Skills:

 

  • Degree qualified (Level 8/9 in Engineering or related discipline).

 

  • Chartered Engineer (Engineers Ireland or equivalent).

 

  • Extensive experience leading multi-disciplinary rail infrastructure projects.

 

  • Proven track record of managing high-value consultancy projects in rail.

 

  • Strong technical knowledge across all project stages.

 

  • Excellent team leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

 

  • Commercially astute with expertise in contract and financial management.

 

  • Full driving licence.
