Job Title: Estimator - Plumbing & Heating

Location: Wigan office

Remuneration: £30,000 - £45,000

The role of the Estimator - Plumbing & Heating will involve:

* Estimator position dealing with a range of plumbing services primarily into the new build market sector

* Gaining an understanding of project requirements via drawings and client liaison

* Liaise with other Estimators, Quality Manager, Directors and Contracts Managers with pricing of tenders and all associated tender submission work

* Perform quantity take-offs and material pricing to accurately estimate project costs

* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services

* Present estimates to clients and participate in negotiation discussions as needed

* Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project-related documentation

* Stay updated on industry trends & pricing enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency

* Project values range from £100,000 up to £3,000,000

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Plumbing & Heating with:

* Must have estimating experience within the HVAC / plumbing & heating market sector

* Must have a technical understanding of plumbing and heating systems

* Ideally will be familiar with new build contracts

* IT literate (Microsoft Office) and strong Excel skills

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbally

* Full UK driving license

* Strong organisation and time management skills
