At SEND Inclusion Support, we are on a mission to transform the educational experience for children and young people, especially those facing the challenges of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and mental health. We are passionate about making a genuine difference, providing expert staffing solutions that go beyond the norm. Our approach is about building long-term, meaningful support, tailored to the individual needs of each student - and we need you to help make this happen.

Position Overview:

Are you a passionate, compassionate educator ready to make an incredible impact? We are looking for dynamic Intervention Teachers, with PGCE and QTS qualifications, to join our team and start immediately. If you're driven to help students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs reach their full potential, this role offers you a unique opportunity to make a profound difference in their academic and personal growth.

As an Intervention Teacher, you will be the catalyst for change, delivering personalised support that equips students with the confidence and skills they need to thrive in their education and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver Tailored Interventions: Create and implement bespoke interventions for students with SEMH and SEND, helping them overcome barriers and achieve progress in their learning journey.

* Foster an Inclusive Learning Environment: Cultivate a positive, motivating atmosphere where students feel empowered, supported, and ready to tackle challenges with confidence.

* Collaborative Teamwork: Work hand-in-hand with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement effective Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring students get the right support at the right time.

* Monitor & Drive Progress: Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies to meet evolving needs, ensuring continuous development academically, socially, and emotionally.

* Community Impact: Get involved in outreach programmes that engage with families and local communities, promoting inclusivity and strengthening the support network for our students.

* Clear Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on student progress, ensuring transparency and maintaining open communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

* PGCE with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

* Experience working with SEMH and SEND students is highly desirable.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

* A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to teaching, focusing on student well-being and academic achievement.

* Access to a vehicle is a bonus but not a requirement.

What We Offer:

* A Truly Supportive Environment: Join a team of passionate professionals where your expertise will be recognised and valued, and your contributions will make a lasting difference.

* Professional Growth: Take advantage of tailored career development opportunities that will help you grow in your role and achieve your professional goals.

* Flexible Working: Enjoy the perfect work-life balance with flexible hours that align with the school timetable.

* Meaningful Impact: Be part of a mission that truly changes lives. The work you do will have a lasting, positive impact on the students you support.

* Ongoing CPD: Access free Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to keep up with the latest teaching strategies and best practices.
