Role: Administrator (Part time)
Salary: £28,000 Full Time Equivalent
Shift: 20 hours per week to be worked over 4 or 5 days
Type: Part time, however it is envisaged that this role will become a full time position in the future
Location: Corsham Science Park, onsite

The company integrates activities across a Research and Development Department responsible for innovating, an Engineering Department that delivers scaled iterations of bioreactors and bioprocess, and the Operations Department responsible for ensuring the company runs smoothly. These Departments work seamlessly together towards delivering technology that allows a sustainable alternative protein to diversify food stuffs for food security across the world. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing processes and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

What this role entails
We are seeking a professional, organised, and proactive Administrator to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, manage front desk operations, and provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the company.
Objectives
- Answer phone calls and manage incoming emails to the shared mailbox.
- Handle incoming and outgoing post and deliveries including arranging shipping and courier services.
- Coordinate meetings and events ensuring all logistics are handles seamlessly including card access and parking permits.
- Organise catering for events.
- Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage and maintain databases and office filing systems ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Administrative support for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Organise and manage calendars, appointments, and travel for the team.
- Monitor and maintain back-office supplies and inventory levels to ensure the office runs smoothly.
- Perform general office duties including photocopying, scanning etc.
Selection criteria
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in a front desk, reception or office admin role preferred
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
