My client secondary school are looking for an experienced and passionate Teacher of Health and Social Care & Psychology to join the school on a full-time, long-term basis. This position will begin immediately and continue until a permanent appointment is made, offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to make an impact on the students' learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach BTEC National in Health and Social Care (Level 3) and A-Level Psychology (AQA).

Potential to teach BTEC Tech Award in Health and Social Care (Level ½) and GCSE Psychology.

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students.

Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback to support achievement and development.

Develop a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and application of knowledge.

Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have a strong background in Health and Social Care and Psychology, with the ability to teach BTEC Level 3 and A-Level Psychology (AQA).

Be able to teach BTEC Tech Award in Health and Social Care (Level ½) and GCSE Psychology, ideally with previous experience in these areas.

Have a Degree or PGCE in Health and Social Care, Psychology, or a closely related field.

Be an experienced educator with a passion for teaching and inspiring students.

Have a commitment to delivering high standards of teaching and supporting student progression.
