Building Surveyor (Insurance Works)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Building / Property Surveyor. Our client undertakes works within the Insurance sector of the construction industry, so previous / similar experience is essential.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Inspect and assess property damage claims

* Provide detailed reports for insurance purposes

* Work closely with homeowners, insurers, and contractors

* Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards and regulations

* Create and upload scope of works, cost estimates, and schedules of work

* Ensure a smooth claims process with expert advice

Requirements:

* Minimum of 2 years of experience using Xactimate and Symbility

* Experience in building surveying and / or insurance claims

* Strong analytical and communication skills

* Knowledge of building regulations and repair costs

* A problem-solving mindset with customer-focused service
