Physics Teacher / Head of Physics (£8000 TLR)

A modern, 'Good' graded Secondary School in Greenwich are looking for a Physics Teacher / Head of Physics (£8000 TLR) for a January/April 2025 start. This is a permanent, and full-time contract.

This Physics Teacher / Head of Physics will consist of the following:

Only teaching KS4 & KS5 Physics - Approx 19 periods out of 33!
Full autonomy of Physics teaching through-out the school
TLR opportunities for Head of Physics or Lead Practitioner of Physics
Small class sizes - 20 at GCSE and under 10 in Year 12 and 13.
Extensive pastoral support team
Brilliant behaviour policy

Strong focus on the development of oracy across the curriculum

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
You must be a team player
