Job Overview

As a Freight Forwarder, you will play a key role in managing the transportation of goods by land, sea, and air. You will be responsible for coordinating the entire shipment process, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of global logistics, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to handle complex shipments efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, coordinate, and monitor international shipments from origin to destination.

* Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and customs authorities to arrange transportation and ensure regulatory compliance.

* Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.

* Track shipments and provide real-time updates to clients on the status of their freight.

* Resolve any issues related to delays, damaged goods, or customs clearance.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

* Maintain accurate records of all shipments and transactions.

Skills and Qualifications

* Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management.

* Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field

* Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.

* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

* Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
