Our client, a dynamic company based near Altham, is expanding their Quality Department and seeking a passionate Quality Inspector to join their team. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

As a Quality Inspector, you will:

• Master CMMs and precision measuring equipment: Operate and program CMMs and a variety of manual precision measuring tools.
• Ensure quality excellence: Conduct First Off and Final Inspections to verify that completed work meets engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement: Create NCR reports and collaborate with Quality Engineers to identify and implement process improvements.
• Communicate effectively: Maintain open communication with team members to ensure that work aligns with quality standards.

We are looking for a Quality Inspector with:

• Strong technical skills: Working knowledge of CMM inspection methods and the ability to program CMMs.
• Experience with manual inspection: Proficiency in using Micrometers, Verniers, and Gauges.
• Engineering acumen: Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Excellent communication: Clear and effective communication skills.
• System proficiency: Experience using MRP and ERP systems.
• Quality focus: Proven experience working with QMS systems.
• Educational background: Ideally, qualifications within Engineering with HNC/HND being advantageous.
