The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Production Engineer to join a well-established company based in Finchampstead.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with production managers to ensure optimum productivity and the timely completion of orders, addressing any production issues to meet customer requirements.

Assist in expediting and prioritising work orders as needed.

Build routings and create Bill of Materials (BOMs) to provide accurate costings and timelines, enhancing costing accuracy.

Maintain high standards of quality and organisation.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies.

Take on additional responsibilities as required.

Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a flexible attitude to work, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Previous hands-on experience in a shopfloor or engineering environment would be advantageous.

Proactive, with a “can do” attitude and excellent communication skills.

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

Self-motivated, able to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.

Experience with MRP systems is beneficial.

Analytical approach to problem-solving and a flexible attitude to changing demands.

A good understanding of engineering principles, particularly mechanical knowledge, would be advantageous.

Training will be provided on products, but a solid engineering background will give you a head start.
