Seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Advisor who works within professional services to manage a monthly UK and small EMEA in-house payroll. Substantial benefits experience is a must, ideally legal sector. The Payroll & Benefits Advisor will also have the responsibility of 1 direct report too and manage the full benefits cycle.

The payroll and benefits advisor will.

  • Manage the monthly payroll using Workday, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Support colleagues in processing and administering the day to day duties for monthly UK payroll from start to finish including starters, leavers, SSP, SMP, SPP etc. manual calculations alongside systems when needed
  • Ensure all day to day payroll tasks are completed in line with payroll processing timetable and controls, including month end and year end process and reporting, including P11d and P60
  • Manage a small EMEA payroll too
  • Assist Senior Management overseeing all global benefits including modernising current global benefits.
  • Instruct global benefit brokers/consultants to conduct market reviews for benefits such as private medical insurance and group risk policies
  • Monthly UK auto-enrolment and pension management
  • Manage the administration for UK employee benefits which includes flexible benefits, employee portal with the broker, annual renewals
  • End process reporting for UK benefits providers
  • Supervise the work of your report to ensure that all activities are coordinated appropriately and that client service is delivered in a timely and professional manner
  • Supervise and develop your report, including day to day work, as well as conducting reviews and appraisals
