Recruitment and Engagement Officer!
Location: North Shields (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: £26,896.35 - £32,589.65 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible across Monday - Sunday (including some evenings and weekends) Closing Date: 9:00 AM, Friday 28th March 2025
The Role:
As a Recruitment and Engagement Officer, you will play a crucial role in attracting and engaging potential foster carers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling initial enquiries and guiding prospective foster carers through the application process.
- Representing the organisation at community-based recruitment events.
- Collaborating with marketing colleagues to enhance recruitment strategies.
- Engaging with current foster carers to foster a supportive community.
- Maintaining accurate records and producing clear, concise reports.
- Working flexibly, including some evening (typically 5-8pm, twice weekly) and weekend (approximately 3 hours, once monthly) work, with time off in lieu during the week.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a public-facing role involving engagement, recruitment, sales, or marketing.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
- A confident and professional telephone manner.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and database systems.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A proactive, "can-do" attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
