We are currently working with a highly regarded property consultancy that is looking for a talented Assistant Town Planner to join their expanding team. Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
Conduct site assessments and prepare reports on planning policy and development potential.
Support senior planners in planning strategy development and project management.
Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate the planning process.
Contribute to the preparation of planning reports, including site analysis and policy reviews.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of planning legislation, regulations, and best practices.Key Requirements:

A degree in Town Planning or a related field (RTPI accredited preferred).
Ideally, some experience in a planning role (though graduates with relevant experience will be considered).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
