Senior Credit Controller

On behalf of a great Finchley, North London based ocmmunity services organsiation we are recruiting for a Senior Credit Controller to join the estblished finance team and drive improvements to the companies aged debt.

Salary: £30K-£35K per annum

Location: Finchley, North London

Position: Full-time, permanent

Our client is looking for a skilled professional to oversee their credit control activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the integrity of the Group's Sales Ledger, covering the entire organisation credit function with a turnover of £100m. This role involves reporting on the comanies 50 national locations debt reports and analysis, utilising key systems such as Sage and ColdHarbour.

Senior Credit Controller Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on debt collection and monitoring
• Produce detailed financial reports and KPIs for the executive team
• Implement efficient debt collection processes
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Provide monthly reports to Managers for effective financial decision-making
• Enhance electronic data feeds between systems to expedite month-end reporting
• Manage legal cases for debt recovery
• Deliver weekly KPIs to senior management for timely performance monitoring
• Provide monthly debt analysis
• Conduct monthly detailed analysis for cashflow and working capital improvements

Senior Credit Controller Requirements:

• Proven experience in credit control or a similar financial role
• Strong understanding of financial systems, particularly Sage and Cold Harbour would be a bonus
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
