The School and Role

A secondary school in the East Riding of Yorkshire seek to a Senior Cover Supervisor from September 2024. The successful Senior Cover Supervisors duties will include logging absence and arranging cover of classes, covering classes and managing over Cover Supervisors. As a Cover Supervisor you will not be expected to a subject specialist in the classes you cover, your responsibility will be to deliver the lesson and ensure pupils are kept on task. Full training can be provided by Vision For Education.

This role will be perfect for an experienced Cover Supervisor looking to take on additiaional responsibility' or alternatively an expereined and organsied administrator looking to take on a role within a school setting.

This secondary school is based in a coastal town in the East Of Yorkshire. Cover Supervisors are offered a comprehensive support structure with help from teachers and senior leaders alike.

Requirements

The desired  Senior Cover Supervisor will have;

- An interest in working in education and with young people

- Degree or A-level Education

- agreat organsiational, admin and personal skills

- An ability to work as part of a team
