We are working with a reputable company based in Shrewsbury who require an Electrical Design Engineer. The position is a permanent role paying up to £45,000 + Benefits.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday - Full Time

Key Reponsibilities:

• Designing initial concept design

• Working on PLC, HMI and SCADA software

• Efficiently use CAD software to create Electrical Schematic Diagrams

• Producing all required technical documents

• Develop PLC wiring diagrams when required

• Panel layouts

• Machine safety circuit design and risk assessments

Key Requirements:

• Good understanding of PLC, HMI and SCADA software

• Siemens PLC knowledge preferable but knowledge of other similar systems considered

• Strong electrical knowledge is essential

• Must be Proficient in CAD

• Able to understand electrical drawings

• Excellent communication skills and adaptability are essential

• System Design experience (3 years)

• Electrical Engineering experience (5 years)
