Our client, a privately owned, leading global construction and consultancy firm are looking for an experienced NEC Supervisor.
Opportunity Overview:
As a Senior NEC Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. This is a unique opportunity to oversee and maintain quality standards while fostering collaboration across various teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Develop a thorough understanding of the project Scope and requirements.
* Access the project's common data environment to gather construction details and other critical information needed for your role.
* Conduct regular site visits and inspections to verify that all work aligns with the specified works information.
* Maintain precise and detailed records of daily site activities, conditions, and resource utilization.
* Prepare comprehensive weekly site reports, coordinating input from team members when necessary.
* Ensure compliance with quality procedures by reviewing and monitoring inspection and test plans, as-built records, and test results.
* Identify, record, and notify Defects using quality management systems (e.g., Fieldview, BIMField).
* Manage the samples and benchmarks process, including review, approval, and maintaining a log of status, while coordinating input from technical advisors and stakeholders.
* Witness testing and commissioning activities to ensure alignment with project requirements.
* Facilitate the coordination of technical advisor input during site inspections, sample and benchmark reviews, and defect resolution.
Qualifications:
* A relevant degree in construction or an equivalent qualification.
* NEC Supervisor or NEC Project Manager accreditation is beneficial but not mandatory.
About You:
* You possess solid construction experience and have a comprehensive understanding of modern construction methods. You are committed to delivering service excellence and adhering to quality standards. Collaborative by nature, you work well within large project teams, including technical advisors and construction managers. You are confident in using digital tools to access project information and record defects.
* A working knowledge of the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) is advantageous but not essential.
