STEM recruitment solutions have a great opportunity for an Electrical Technician for our client in the Edinburgh area.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform maintenance and repairs on a wide range of electrical plant and equipment.

* Carry out general electrical installation work in accordance with BS #removed#th Edition wiring regulations.

* Conduct in-service inspection and testing of portable and fixed electrical equipment to current codes of practice.

* Perform periodic inspection and testing of fixed building wiring to ensure compliance with BS #removed#th Edition.

* Maintain accurate records of testing and manage the electrical equipment register.

* Participate in an on-call rota to respond to emergencies outside of normal working hours.

* Liaise directly with equipment users to ensure work is properly scheduled and safe to carry out.

What We're Looking For:

* Qualified electrician with experience in maintenance and installation.

* Up-to-date knowledge of BS #removed#th Edition regulations.

* SJIB card
