Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Sourcing Manager to join one of the world's largest banks.
The role will offer a hybrid working model and be based out of either the Manchester, Northampton, Glasgow or Knutsford office 2 days per week.
The Role:
As a Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for owning a portfolio of sourcing deals (new contracts, renewals, extensions, orders) of varying value levels, risk levels depending on the level of the role.You will be providing sourcing and category execution support for the marketing category.In this category they negotiate almost all marketing contracts in the bank - it’s a broad category they have there which covers the whole breadth of marketing.
Key Responsibilities:

Negotiating contracts on behalf of the bank

Engaging with business stakeholders to understand the demand, requirements and support the best commercial outcome

Agreeing the sourcing approach with the category lead (e.g. RFX process, single source renewal/negotiation) aligned to the category strategy

Execution of the process, following processes and controls through to contract signature and hand over to the supplier manager

Additional work on category planning (e.g. renewals pipeline development, spend analysis) may be required to support the category manager
Key skills & Qualifications:
-
Experience of end to end Sourcing process ideally in the Financial Services / Banking or Pharmaceuticals, as you’ll need to be experienced in a regulated environment for the marketing category.

Marketing experience - as you'll need to understand complexities, nuances of procurement for the marketing category

Marketing commercial models
-
Experience of the commercial construct

Tendering experience;

Need to have previously worked with C-suite stakeholders

Governance experience

Structured approach to planning and execution ensuring key stakeholders and procurement colleagues are appraised of progress, plans and blockers

Ability to work at pace with but with control at the front of mind

Comfortable operating in complex matrixed environments

Must have experience of working in big organisations

Experience of high value contracts - the smallest is £2 million a year, and £40-100m a year is the largest. You will be given contracts of the value where your experience lies.

Self-starter, proactive and quick to learn process, controls and tools; you’ll need to hit the ground running and deliver

Good interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders; must be experienced in working with C-Suite

Good collaborative style with other Procurement and Bank teams
