Working for one of the largest Insurers in the UK who have a huge global presence, this role is working within their leading SME department where they have an incredible culture and a proven track record within the industry. As a Commercial Fleet Underwriter you will be responsible for growing a portfolio of brokers and supporting with their fleet policies within a book of business worth over £30 million to the entire department.

The role
* Underwrite new and existing Mid-Market businesses with a focus on profitability, accuracy, and consistency, adhering to established underwriting practices and utilizing a comprehensive suite of available tools.
* Foster strong trading relationships with brokers through regular visits and collaboration on large cases, aiming to enhance financial outcomes and create a pipeline of new business opportunities.
* Actively participate in meetings with brokers and end customers to effectively communicate the organisations capabilities.

What we are looking for
* Underwriting or Insurance background.
*Experience working on new business with an ability to consistently hit targets.
* The ability to build strong relationships with brokers.
