Technical Supervisor

Salary: up to £48,000

Location: Leeds
A global FM company is seeking a Technical Supervisor to oversee technical service delivery covering a retail outlet in Leeds. This role ensures smooth site operations by managing maintenance tasks (planned, reactive, and corrective), coordinating resources, and maintaining compliance with regulations and best practices. You'll lead a team, drive efficiency, and deliver a top-class service while minimizing disruptions.

Key Responsibilities of a Technical Supervisor:

* Lead all site technical services, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

* Act as the primary contact for technical activities, supporting both the on-site team and the client.

* Manage and develop a team of technicians, maximizing self-delivered work.

* Oversee subcontractors, ensuring adherence to compliance and safety protocols.

* Drive continuous improvement in maintenance and service delivery.

* Manage budgets and provide quotes for small projects.

* Identify opportunities for expanding services.

* Conduct hands-on maintenance when required, ensuring operational excellence.

Experience & Skills:

* Strong IT and organizational skills.

* Knowledge of EHS requirements and maintenance processes.

* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

* Leadership experience with excellent communication and planning abilities.

* Engineering background with expertise in estimating labour and materials.

* Practical experience in maintenance tasks and team training.
