Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) Location: Crosby, Liverpool Start Date: ASAP Duration: Until the end of the academic year (July 2025) Contract Type: Long-term temporary Hours: 8:30 am 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday Pay: GBP95+ About the Role We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Crosby, Liverpool. This role is perfect for someone with a strong commitment to helping children with additional needs reach their full potential. As an SEN TA, you will: Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with additional learning needs. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and confidence. Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions. Requirements: We are looking for an SEN TA who has: Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting. A proactive approach and the ability to adapt to the needs of individual students. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff. Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable but not essential). Eligibility: Right to work in the UK. Enhanced DBS certificate on the online update service (or willingness to apply for one). Two professional references covering at least the last two years.
