Excellent opportunity to grow a successful, growing consultancy as a CAD Manager/Team Leader. This is a technically hands off role, you will be expected to manage the team in terms of career development, appraisals, spreading work load and client liaison.

The CAD team use mainly AutoCAD. They complete 2D site designs taking into account a variety of situational factors. Drawings required will include site layouts, drawings for submission of Planning, equipment elevations and a selection of other site specific plans.

Your role will involve the management, and spread of workload according to team strengths, liasing with clients, and keeping your team on track with both project deadlines and career management/mentorship.

Skills and Qualifications
• Management or mentoring experience in CAD, Design, or Engineering
• Highly proficient in the use of SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD software, AutoCAD
• To be able to work under pressure and within a fast moving, dynamic industry.
• Prioritise workload depending on a variety of factors.
• Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint and OneDrive and the ability to pick up knowledge on different systems.
• Great administration skills to allow for tracking of site progress and information sharing.
Salary is dependent on experience.
