AK Teaching invites applications for a KS1 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Leeds. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, creative and dedicated to inspiring young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Key Stage 1 students.

* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.

* Use a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles.

* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

* Work collaboratively with other staff members, including teaching assistants and support staff.

* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being.

* Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

* Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1.

* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.

* Excellent knowledge of Phonics teaching.

* Excellent organisational and communication skills.

* A commitment to continuous professional development.
